What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

TRACY on Audio

I am pleased to announce that the audio adaptation of my one-person stage play, TRACY, is now available for download via Amazon, audible.com and iTunes.

Chris Hendrie delivers a marvelous performance as Spencer Tracy, the 2-time Oscar-winning actor who starred in such films as CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS, BOYS TOWN, BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK, ADAM'S RIB, INHERIT THE WIND and many other classics.

Currently in production are audio editions of my one-person plays on Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone. All of them should be available for holiday giving.

I've posted two new reviews on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link in the Introduction section of this page. They are the Criterion edition of Orson Welles' OTHELLO and a charming documentary, HAROLD AND LILLIAN: A HOLLYWOOD LOVE STORY. So, please take a look.
