What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

On to The Next One...

I am going to be 75 years old on Tuesday (23).

Funny, I don't feel like I'm 75. Where did all the years go?

I finished and copyrighted my new play this past week. I'm holding off publishing it yet, since I'm waiting to hear from MGM to see if they will allow me to use a poster from one of their old movies on the cover. This play, as well as the next one I'm planning to write, revolve around the making of an old film, so I'm hoping that MGM will allow me to use a poster for the second play's cover also. Fingers crossed.

I am now researching and preparing to start work on the second play.

I've also be approached by a home video company in the UK about filming a commentary on one of their upcoming releases. Nothing is set yet, so I'll tell you more about that if/when it actually happens.
