What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Memorial Day Weekend

Since this is Memorial Day weekend, my next blog entry will not be until Tuesday (31).

This morning, I have my annual physical and on Monday (yes, Monday), I have an eye exam. I need new glasses.

Yesterday, I finished proofreading DRACULA MEETS JACK THE RIPPER And Other Revisionist Histories, so during the next few days, I'll be transferring my corrections to written notes, so that the typesetter can implement them. I'm very proud of this book. I think you'll enjoy the stories in it.

Now, here's a short joke to hold you for the long weekend:

A wife asks her husband, "Could you please go shopping for me and buy one carton of milk, and if they have eggs, get 6."

A short time later the husband comes back with 6 cartons of milk.

The wife asks him, "Why did you buy 6 cartons of milk?"

He replied, "They had eggs."

You have a creative weekend and I'll see you on Tuesday.
