It Never Just Rains...

The health problems never seem to go away. A week or two after my final post surgery visit with my doctor, I got a case of Shingles, which I am still dealing with. And, I was vaccinated for Shingles eight years ago.
Then, yesterday, wife Sandy was out walking our dog, Chester, when the dumb mutt spotted a cat and started to take off after it. Sandy got caught in the leash and look a dive...right on her face. Not only will there be expensive dental work to repair the damage, but she also broke her glasses.
Bad Chester!
In the meantime, I've finished my new novel, JACKIE GOES TO DIXIE, and it should be available for purchase on Amazon in July.
I'm rather proud of this one. I think it's my best work of fiction since DRACULA MEETS JACK THE RIPPER & Other Revisionist Histories.
Set in the mid-1970s, this "fish out of water" story is about Jackie Moss, a Jewish Las Vegas comedian (Think Don Rickles, Jack Carter, Buddy Hackett), who is, by mistake, booked for a one night gig deep in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas.
Consider the possibilities.
I'll post more on this later. In the meantime, I have to run to my post-operation therapy.
You have a creative week.
