What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

I am feeling much better after my surgery. I go to the doctor this coming week and, hopefully, he will "release" me.

Now for the important news:

My new book, HOLLYWOOD SNAPSHOTS: The Forgotten Interviews, is now available on Amazon in both paperback and hardback editions. The Kindle edition is coming soon.

The book reprints my columns from Coronet magazine as they originally appeared, and it also contains excerpts from my recently rediscovered interview notes for my books, columns and stage plays, including many eye-opening comments that never made print. These notes are made public here for the first time.

Among the people interviewed are Claire Trevor, Paul Henreid, Jack Oakie, Howard Keel, Ann Miller, Yvonne De Carlo, Mary Pickford, Gale Sondergaard, John Carradine, David Janssen and several members of "The Little Rascals".
