What took you so long to get here?

Where have you been all my life?

I’ll tell you where I’ve been.

I’ve been in show business!

Ever since I was a little kid and heard Pinocchio singing, “Hey, diddly-dee, an actor’s life for me,” that’s what I wanted. Well, not to be an actor.

I got tired of that during my freshman year in college.

So, what to do, what to do. . .

After many years as a Hollywood press agent, I became a writer…movies, stage plays, books.

Anything that was a challenge. I love telling stories.

After all, with due respect to actors, directors and other artists, isn’t the only truly creative aspect of the performing arts the written word?

Everything else is “interpretation”.

On this site you will find links to my many stage plays that are available for licensing, listings of my books that are available for purchasing, some of my screenplays that are available for optioning, plus my blog that will keep you apprised of my various on-going activities and we can get to know each other, maybe too well.

Friday the 13th!!!

Friday the 13th is one of those days that I don't like to leave the house.

:-)

So, I'll probably spend much of the day sending out flyers for THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS plays, which I actually started doing yesterday.

Yesterday, by the way, we finally got some rain here in Austin; the first decent rainfall we've had in months. It rained hard, thundered and we had lightning all morning and into the afternoon.

I'm told by my publisher that I'll be getting the type-set version of DRACULA MEETS JACK THE RIPPER And Other Revisionist Histories by this weekend, so correcting that should keep me busy for a few day. We still, however, have to come up with an intriguing cover.

If I haven't mentioned it before, there is now a review of DIABOLIQUE up on the Best Bets on DVD site, accessible via the link on the Introduction section of this page. This is really one of the great thriller of all times, so you should take a look at it.

Okay, you have a creative weekend and I'll be back on Monday.
