Busy Day!

Yesterday was a busy one.
I wrote a couple of reviews for the MovieFreak website where I'm known as "Roy Earle".
If you don't recognize the moniker, it's the name of Humphrey Bogart's character in HIGH SIERRA.
I also did the first pass on a 4th trailer for my forthcoming book, DRACULA MEETS JACK THE RIPPER And Other Revisionist Histories.
This new one is for "Bugsy's Boys," the story about Eddie Cannizaro, the guy who claims to have shot "Bugsy" Siegel.
You'll recall reading about him in my memoir.
I really enjoy doing these trailers on iMovie. They spark my creativity.
By the time I finished the trailer, it was too late to do any proofreading for the book manuscript itself, but that will happen today.
I watched a very good movie over the weekend. It's called THOSE LIPS, THOSE EYES, and it stars Frank Langella and Tom Hulce.
Anybody who has a desire to go into show business, particularly the Theatre, should see this picture, which is being released onto DVD by MGM on a "on demand" basis.
It's set in Cleveland (not New York) in 1951, and it's the most honest portrait of actors and life in the Theatre that I've ever seen.
You have a creative day, and I'll be back tomorrow.
