Another Surgery

Happy Halloween!
So, during the past month, both wife Sandy and I have both had surgeries.
I, as you know, had cataract surgery about 3 weeks ago and, thankfully, everything has gone well thus far. Today, I finish using the drops for my eye, then I will see the doctor again next week. At this point, I've decided to hold off doing the other eye, because I'm now pretty much seeing equally out of both. I assume that's because the surgery worked.
This past Thursday, I took Sandy to the hospital where she had a device removed from her back. She'd had it implanted 2-3 years ago to help her with back pains, but after her neck surgery last year, she felt that it wasn't necessary, so she has now had it removed. Not a difficult surgery.
Otherwise, I've been supervising the audio recording of MISS DINAH SHORE. We're about halfway through. I'm very pleased and and if all goes well, it should be a available for sale before the end of the year.
Since I already have two new books being published next year, I really haven't been motivated to get back to work on my next one. Instead, I've been doing a lot of reading; mostly thrillers.
However, I did pick up a book in a used book store last week that was, for me, quite a find. It was a memoir by my late publicity client, director Edward Dmytryk (CROSSFIRE, THE CAINE MUTINY, THE YOUNG LIONS, etc.), and it was signed.
Don't forget to vote, and you have a creative week.
